I have heavily abused people close to me in my life. Like all trauma influenced lives, presence, connection, heart-open living, etc. is extremely difficult for those whom have been so severely mistreated. Is there an opportunity to implement a heavily monitored micro-dose program for willing abuse victims. My thought is for women, for the most part, however this could be helpful for any human of abuse. I am lucky and unlucky that my main abuser has always been myself, however the healing I have found through micro-dosing towards that internal abuser is something I wish for all those who have been abused by other humans, as well.

Through my psilocybin assisted journey of trauma recovery, I have come upon some characteristics of mine that mimic many parts of the autism spectrum. My newly developed practice of presence has helped me overcome those social dysfunctionalities and anxieties, rigidities of thought, and dwelling in a catastrophic way. For conditions that don't even border on mania (like schizophrenia, multiple personality disorder, bipolar, etc.) I am curious if there is any safe way to test a micro-dosing program similar to trauma recovery on people at the low end of the autism spectrum.

Measuring the Impact of Preparation on Psychedelic Outcomes

Psychedelic research currently focuses on medicines with little being studied about the role of preparation. Fireside Project reports that the number one reason people reach out to their hotline is lack of preparation. This study could quantify how preparation (or lack thereof) influences outcomes, exploring statistics such as what percentage of participants wish they had been better prepared, wished they had more than one guide or option, or were aware of available support resources, etc. Understanding these factors could help establish preparation as a critical standard of care in psychedelic practice.

Beyond the Ceremony: Tracking Long-Term Lifestyle Change After Psychedelic Use

Many people in the psychedelic community return to “the ceremony” again and again, chasing healing but rarely integrating its lessons into lasting change. This observational study would track participants for 6 to 12 months after a psychedelic experience to understand how insights are (or are not) applied to daily life. It will explore changes in health behaviors, relationships, spiritual practices, and environmental values. The goal is to identify what supports true integration so that people don’t need to keep returning to the medicine, but instead LIVE the transformation. Sustainable change, not endless ceremony, is the frontier of this movement.

Does Psilocybin Reconnect Humans to Earth and Each Other?

This observational study would explore how psilocybin experiences in natural environments influence a person’s felt connection to the Earth, land stewardship values, and sense of interconnection with others. As ecological crises accelerate, humanity’s disconnection from nature is both a root cause and a barrier to solutions. Participants would engage with psilocybin in regenerative settings like organic farms, forests, or ranches to assess whether these experiences foster ecological empathy, long-term behavioral change, and relational healing. Can reconnecting with the Earth through psychedelics shift how we care for our planet and each other?

Exploring psychedelic support for parents of individuals with disabilities

Parents of children or adults with disabilities often face chronic stress, compassion fatigue, and isolation, yet they remain vastly underrepresented in mental health research. This study would explore whether psychedelic experiences, when used in intentional and supportive settings, can improve mental health outcomes for these caregivers. Additionally, it would examine how these experiences may enhance emotional resilience, deepen empathy, and improve the quality of the parent-child relationship, especially when the child is nonverbal, developmentally delayed, or requires lifelong support. This research has the potential to shift how we support the emotional and relational wellbeing of families navigating disability.

Capturing Psychedelic Experiences Outside of Regulated Spaces. Unlimited Sciences is launching Project IRIS: a landmark longitudinal study focused entirely on capturing the real-world trajectories, context, outcomes, and experiences of non-facilitated use (NFU) of psychedelics.

(Need to brush up on your Latin? In situ translates to "in its original place," which in the world of research means studying a phenomenon in its natural setting. While clinical trials observe psychedelics in a lab, Project IRIS meets the medicine where it actually lives: in the real world, among the community, and in the hands of the people.)
